“Pavement Preservation Project” – ADDENDUM #1

The above referenced Bid Documents shall be amended as indicated below. In order for

your bid to be considered, an acknowledgement of Addendum #1 must be received as

part of your bid packet response. Please acknowledge your understanding of this

Addendum by signing in the space provided below and returning with your bid packet.

You may also acknowledge receipt of this Addendum by signing in the space so

designated on the Signature Page and returning with your bid packet.

The inclusion of the Addendum will be noted in the Agreement, and execution of the

Contract shall indicate full acceptance by all parties of the provisions contained herein.

All other provisions of the Plans and Specifications, and other Contract Documents shall

remain unchanged and in full effect. The Addendum shall be attached to and become

part of the Specifications for the above referenced project.

Reason for the Addendum #1:

It has come to our attention that a PennDOT Publication was incorrectly referenced,

and a portion of the Technical Specifications were not included on the Proposal

Page regarding the Slurry Seal.

1. The Proposal Page (Page 41) will change by adding the correct PennDOT

Publication and deleting the wording in Item #2 regarding Fog Seal and

replacing with wording for Slurry Seal. Please see attached Proposal Page

which will replace the Proposal Page included in the Bid Packet.
