Work of the Contract is shown and described in Project Manual entitled: Town of Manchester Globe Hollow Water Treatment Plant Temporary Finished Water Header September 2024

Background

The existing finished water header receives water from three water treatment plant pumps and conveys water down into a pipe gallery within the plant, then underground to a 24” ductile iron pipe that feeds the Town’s water service area. The portion of the header in the pipe gallery needs repair (to be done by Others). To make the repairs, the header must be taken out of service, drained and repaired. The scope of this project is to provide a temporary water header so that the water treatment plant can remain online providing water to the Town’s customers.
