NOTICE INVITING BIDS

BID #26-002

Notice is hereby given that the City of Hermosa Beach will receive electronic bids until 2PM on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at which time the electronic bids will be publicly opened at the City Council Chambers at 1315 Valley Drive, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254 and posted on PlanetBids for CIP 107 CITYWIDE SLURRY SEAL PROJECT.

A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2026, to review the Project’s existing condition at N/E corner of Hermosa Ave. and 2nd St. Representatives of the City and consulting engineering, if any, will be present. Questions asked by Bidders at the Pre-Bid Conference not specially addressed within the Contract Documents shall be answered in writing and shall be sent to all Bidders present at the Pre-Bid Conference. Bids will not be accepted from any bidder who did not attend the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference.

This project includes, but is not limited to, crack sealing of existing pavement and; removal of existing striping and markers, installation of Type II slurry seal with 2.5% Latex and striping and signage at various locations.

The duration of the project is 35 working days. All bids must be submitted electronically on PlanetBids Portal, accessible through the City’s webpage at https://www.hermosabeach.gov/our-government/city-clerk/bids-and-proposals where you must first register as a vendor through our PlanetBids Portal. Contract Documents, Plans, and Specifications will be available for review on PlanetBids. All relevant materials shall be obtained from the link above.
