Description: This is a roof replacement for the Thomasville Government Center located at 211 W. Colonial Drive, Thomasville, NC 27360. In general, the scope of work includes replacement of the existing single-ply roof system with a fully adhered felt-back thermoplastic (PVC) roof system on an approximate 16,743 square feet of roof area. Before submitting a proposal, read the ENTIRE solicitation including the Contract Terms and Conditions. Failure to read any part shall not relieve the Contractor of its contractual obligations. Technical and Price proposals must be submitted at the same time. The Price proposal shall be submitted on the Request for Proposal pricing forms if provided. Include other information as requested or required. Proposals must be received by the Division of Procurement PRIOR to the specified date and time on the acceptance requirements Sealed Proposals subject to the conditions made a part hereof will be received until 2:00 PM, on March 24, 2026, for furnishing services described herein. In the event the County is closed due to inclement weather, this opening will take place on the next business day. In lieu thereof, such Bidder may file a bid bond in the above amount executed in accordance with and conditioned as prescribed by GS 143-129, as amended by Chapter 1104 of the North Carolina Public Laws of 1951. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the contract within ten (10) days after award, the above deposit will be retained by the Owner on the bid bond executed on liquidated damages.
