Description: Invitation for Bids Town of Oak Bluffs  Contract No. OB2025-09 ON-CALL CARPENTRY SERVICES The Town of Oak Bluffs invites bids for on-call carpentry services for public buildings and facilities in Oak Bluffs, MA. All bids must be sealed & be marked: "BID FOR ON-CALL CARPENTRY SERVICES". Bids must be submitted by 2:00 PM on November 25, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted to the Town Administrator's Office, Town of Oak Bluffs, 56 School St, PO Box 1327, Oak Bluffs, MA 02557. The work under the proposed contract shall conform to the requirements of MGL, Chapter 149, Sections 44A through M, and Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. Work under this contract shall comply with the requirements of the Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Law under MGL, Chapter 149, Section 27, as amended. A bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid price must accompany every bid. The lowest responsible and eligible company will be required to furnish certification of labor harmony and that all employees to be employed at the worksite will have successfully completed a course in construction safety and health approved by OSHA for a minimum of 10 hours. All bids must be signed by an authorized individual(s). A Payment Bond of 50% of the contract price will be required within ten days of contract award. The right is reserved by the Town of Oak Bluffs to reject or accept any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
