For more information, visit www.thecha.org.ARTICLE IIINTENT AND PURPOSECHA seeks qualified vendors to provide effective and efficient Safety and Security to all siteslisted in each package. The successful vendor will demonstrate expertise in providing securityservices for high, mid, and low-rise properties as well as various sized site complexes. Thesuccessful vendor will also demonstrate its efficiency and effectiveness by providing stafflicensing/certification/credentials in, but not limited to, IDFPR (Illinois Department of Finance andProfessional Regulation) FOID, PERC, TAN, Safety and Security training, providing designatedpoints of contacts (i.e., Managers, Supervisors, Operations Coordinator), providing and allowingCHA access to digital reports such as incidents, logs, payroll systems, GPS trackingsystem/Patrol Technology, and having access to vehicles for patrolling purposes.ARTICLE IIISTATEMENT OF WORK/SCOPE OF SERVICESThe CHA’s Safety and Security’s focus is to provide oversight of compliance and guidance to theSecurity Services Providers in its performance of Security Services throughout the portfolio. TheChicago Housing Authority requires all residents and owners receive outstanding professionalservice, as well as receive timely, courteous responses to problems and questions.Respondents may respond to as few as one (1) or as many as all eight (8) of the locationpackages. The CHA anticipates awarding one or more contracts for a base term of 2-years with3 1-year options for the performance of services.Security Services Providers shall perform the following Security Services in accordance with theterms set forth in this RFP.Personnel:A. Security Officers and Supervisors shall:1. be at least twenty-one (21) years old, and a citizen or legal resident alien of theUnited States.2. be high school graduates and shall demonstrate the ability to read and writeadequately, especially as it relates to writing reports which convey completeinformation and must maintain and be able to always demonstrate such abilities.3.
