SummaryIn accordance with the provisions of Section 287.055, Florida Statutes (Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act), the City of Winter Park ("City") is seeking a qualified and responsible progressive design-build team to reimagine and remodel an existing Parks Department equipment storage building into a new columbarium facility that will serve the adjacent Palm Cemetery. The City is seeking to maximize the number of niche units that may be provided through both interior and exterior improvements to the building and grounds. The columbarium facility will serve as a focal point within the cemetery, providing a dignified final resting place for cremated remains and meeting the needs of our community.
The Selected Respondent will be responsible for all aspects of the construction process, including, but not limited to, design, site preparation, foundation work, remodel and construction of the columbarium structure, demo and removal, landscaping, and obtaining any necessary permits.
Respondents must be licensed and authorized to perform professional engineering services in the State of Florida pursuant to Section 471.023, Florida Statutes, and demonstrate the appropriate professional experience and qualifications to provide these services to the City.
