BackgroundThe purpose of this project is to improve the recreational, environmental, and aesthetic value of Ontario County Beach Park, located on the eastern shore of Canandaigua Lake. The project seeks to improve public access, safety, sustainability, and overall visitor experience while preserving the natural beauty and ecological integrity of the lakefront area. It aligns closely with the County's Parks and Recreation Master Plan and Canandaigua Lakeshore Parks Master Plan.
Key components of the project include:
- Infrastrucutre upgrades: Renovation of existing facilities, including restrooms and parking areas, to meet current accessibility and safety standards.
- Walkway improvements: Development of ADA-compliant sidewalks to better connect park amenities.
