The Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is soliciting bids to provide welding services to refit Building 20 at the Mount Pleasant Correctional Facility (MPCF) with new automated valves to heat the MLO Building (which houses around 100-150 minimum incarcerated individuals).

MPCF is located at 1200 E Washington St., Mt Pleasant, IA. 52641. The facility spans approximately 152 acres and is a minimum-security facility focused on re-entry, cognitive-behavioral programming, and community integration.
