Scope of Work:

Remove the existing play structure and install a new play structure, along with a new play shade structure. The play area will be reconstructed to install an in-ground dry well and place compacted soft fall material throughout the play surface as drawn and specified.

Contractor’s Licensing
It is WCSD's opinion that the scope of work for this project qualifies under the following license classifications: General Engineering A or A21; or General Contracting licenses AB, when more than two (2) building trades are utilized; or Specialty licenses C14 or C25 when the bidder is performing a majority of the work in accordance with NRS 338.139.

Sealed bids for the Replacement of the Play Structure at Marvin Moss Elementary School will be received by the Washoe County School District’s (WCSD) Purchasing Department located at the Brown Center 14101 Old Virginia Road, Room #0, Reno, NV 89521, until 2:00 p.m., (Local Time) on July 8, 2026. The bids will be opened publicly via a TEAMS Meeting at 2:30 pm (local time).

There will be a NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting held at 3:00 p.m. on June 17, 2026, at Marvin Moss Elementary School (Meet in Front of the Office) 2200 Primio Way, Sparks, NV 89434.
Due to access and coordination involved in this project we highly recommend that contractors walk the project site that we are making available.
