INVITATION FOR BID

CHINLE WATER SYSTEM IRON AND MAGANESE

IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT (EQUIPMENT)

Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA) is hereby contacting qualified equipment suppliers to

provide water treatment equipment for the iron and manganese removal water treatment system to

include the following:

 Packaged filtration system

 Packaged residual handling system

 Plate and frame filter press

Instructions and Scope of Work can be obtained from Avis Jimm, Contract Administrator, at (928)

729-6243 or by email avisj@ntua.com or at NTUA Purchasing Department, North Navajo Route

12, Fort Defiance, Arizona.

Bid response shall be submitted in a seal envelope clearly marked: “DO NOT OPEN – CHINLE

WATER SYSTEM IRON AND MANGANESE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

(EQUIPMENT)” and received by January 2, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. (DST). No late, facsimiled, or

electronic mailed bids will be accepted. At the time the bids received will be publicly opened and

read.

regulatory requirements. Bidders must submit evidence of their Preference Priority Certification
