DEFINITION OF TERMINOLOGYThis section contains definitions that are used throughout this procurementdocument, including appropriate abbreviations.“Addendum” A written or graphic instrument issued prior to the opening ofBids which clarify, corrects, supplements, or changes the Bidding Documentsor Contract Documents. Plural: Addenda.“Alternate Bid” If required by the Bidding Documents, the amount to beadded to the Base Bid if the corresponding change in the project scope,materials, and/or methods of construction is awarded by the Owner.“Base Bid” Amount stated in the Bid as the sum for which the Bidder offersto perform the work, excluding alternate Bids.“Bid” The offer of the Bidder submitted on the prescribed form setting forththe prices for the work to be performed in conformance with the BiddingDocuments.
