ADDENDUM NO. 1
Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract
documents.
The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the proposal and contract documents. These items shall have the same
force and effect as the original bid and contract documents, and bids to be submitted on the specified date shall conform
with the additions, deletions and revisions as listed herein.
ITEM #1 QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
Q1. Will the Charlotte Harbor and Lemon Bay Water Quality Monitoring Program sample collection be from a
vessel or land? How many samples are to be collected?
A1. The Southwest Florida Water Management District has assumed responsibility of all facets of the Lemon
Bay/Charlotte Harbor Water Quality Program. At this we are not being requested to, or are contributing to, that
effort. All references to this shall be removed from this Request for Bids.
Q2. Would you please clarify the due date for reports from section TS-05, what are the reporting period
dates? “Reports shall be submitted to the County no later than the 7th following the end of the reporting
period for each sampling event. Deep Well Analysis reports must be submitted no later than the 5th of
the month following the sampling event.”
A2. Please refer to Item #2 below.
Q3. Please clarify the well the contractor will be sampling in section Municipal Solid Waste Management
Division (MSWMD) TS-08 MW-1 or MW-1A?
A3. Contractor will be sampling MW-1A.
ITEM #2 CORRECTIONS
1. Page 9, Technical Specifications & Conditions, TS-05 General Conditions, 9th paragraph, please remove “Deep
Well Analysis reports must be submitted no later than the 5th of the month following the sampling event.”
2. Please REMOVE the following from this Request for Bids:
a. Page 1, “, and Stormwater Management Department”
b. Page 9, TS-06 Containers, paragraph 1, line 3, “, except for the Charlotte County Stormwater Management
Department”

3. Please CORRECT the following items in this Request for Bids:
a. Please correct page 10, TS-08 Municipal Solid Waste Management Division, A. Monitor Wells, paragraph 2
to read, “The monitoring wells identification are: MW-1A; MW-2A; MW-4A; and MW-5. The four (4)
monitoring wells have a two-inch opening and a depth of 18 feet. The monitoring wells average water
elevation from January 2024 to December 2024 was: 80 inches for MW-1A; 69 inches for MW-2A; 72 inches
for MW-4A; and 75 inches for MW-5. The Contractor will measure, purge and sample all four (4) ground
water monitoring wells, semiannually schedule, in accordance with their approved Comprehensive Quality
Assurance Plan.”

This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original proposal documents of Bid No.
20260183. Firms are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
