SANDERSVILLE POLICE FIREARMS RANGE PROJECT

The City of Sandersville is seeking bids from qualified suppliers for the renovation of the Sandersville Police Department’s outdoor firearms range For bid packages and questions, please contact Travis Fort, Purchasing Agent at (478) 552-2525.

All bids must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked

The City of Sandersville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bidsand act in the best interest of the City of Sandersville.

POLICE FIREARMS RANGE PROJECT

GENERAL

The City of Sandersville is seeking bids from qualified suppliers for the renovation of the

Sandersville Police Department’s outdoor firearms range. Project will include a 16’W x 80’L x

12’H covered structure w/metal covering and enclosed endcap (metal 16’ x 16’ enclosed, open to

front). Covered structure will also include Four 4’ led lights mounted to the trusses, with two

receptacles at each end. Four 12’L x 3’W center table/bench structures placed underneath the

covered area. Additionally, removal and replacement of silhouette structure (target holder) 6’H x

80’L, using 6x6 post and 2x6 frame. Order and placement of one 10x14 storage building, w/ one

light and two receptacles. Building includes one standard entry door and minimum of one

window.

The City of Sandersville reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids.

*There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on February 12TH from 1 pm to

3pm. to give clarity and instructions for the need of this project. *

MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS

• TREATED LUMBER FOR ALL STRUCTURES

• MINIMUM 29-GAUGE METAL FOR ROOF COVERING (GALVALUME OR ANY COLOR)

• 4’ LED SHOP LIGHTS FOR COVERED STRUCTURE

• WEATHERPROOF RECEPTACLE FOR THE COVERED STRUCTURE

• STANDARD STORAGE BUILDING (ANY COLOR)

• STANDARD INTERIOR LIGHT/RECEPTACLE FOR STORAGE BUILDING

• STANDARD ENTRY DOOR/WINDOW(S) FOR STORAGE BUILDING

BID REQUIREMENTS

1. The bid must be submitted prior to bid deadline of March 3rd, 2026 at 3:00pm – at which

time a bid opening will take place at Sandersville City Hall, 141. W. Haynes Street,

Sandersville, GA 31082.

2. Three (3) copies of the bid shall be delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked

3. “POLICE FIREARMS RANGE PROJECT”. All shipping envelopes must be clearly

marked.

4. Bids shall be delivered to:

5. The bid shall include the total cost of the equipment and installation and estimated project

start date.

6. The bid shall include a description of the equipment features and the warranty provided.

7. The bid should include a completed W-9 Form.
