Project Description: Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) is seeking proposals through a competitive process wherein a qualified energy consultant will conduct a utility-scale energy generation study and lead an evaluation of rules, regulations, and market-related opportunities related to power generation of size and scale, that provide long-term benefits for EMWD and its ratepayers.
The purpose of this RFP is to identify the most qualified consultant who can conduct and deliver a study that provides EMWD with strategies to reduce its energy reliance on retail electricity providers by 30%, 60%, and 90%.
