PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Public Building Commission of Chicago (PBC) has invited all Contractors to bid on PBC Contract C1613, Forest Preserve District of Cook County (“FPDCC”) – Metal Buildings – McGinnis Field Station.

The Forest Preserve District of Cook County (“FPDCC”) – Metal Buildings – McGinnis Field Station Project is located at 13700 South 110th Avenue, in Orland Park, Illinois.

The project consists of the construction of a New Metal Building for vehicle and storage use. The project also includes the removal of the existing shed, minor renovations at existing Field Station and Lab buildings, site improvements, and upgrade to existing electrical service.

This Project includes a Phasing Plan.

PRE-BID/SITE VISIT ACTIVITIES:

On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, PBC will host a Non-Mandatory Virtual Pre-Bid Meeting at 11:00 a.m., and a Non-Mandatory Virtual Technical Review Meeting at 11:30 a.m. on ZOOM virtual meeting platform. Subcontractors and suppliers are encouraged to attend.
