Description: Notice of Request for Proposals for the Arcata Economic Strategic Plan Update Planning Services The City of Arcata is seeking statements of qualifications/proposals from qualified consultants to provide a comprehensive update to the City’s Economic Strategic Plan (last updated in 2010). The purpose of the plan update process is to help the City better understand ways to grow and diversify the local economy and tax base. The updated plan will evaluate the City’s economy and set strategic projects for key economic sectors. The goal is to create a concise, project-focused plan informed by current economic trends. The plan timeframe will be 2026-2031. Proposals for this work will be received at the City Manager's Office, 736 F Street, Arcata, California until 3:00 pm. on Friday, March 28, 2025. The award for this contract is anticipated to be made at the Arcata City Council's meeting on or after May 21, 2025.
