Background

Due to the nature of sanitation workers' responsibilities, a fitness center will help to eliminate work-related injuries and promote healthier employees, thus reducing the number of workers compensation cases.

The Sanitation Department is completing a 20,000 square foot facility which includes a fitness area for approximately 215 employees. The current size of the fitness area is approximately 15' wide and 27' long.
