Description: Request for Proposal for Event Center Window Framing Project San Miguel County is requesting proposals and accepting sealed bids from experienced contractors to install structural framing around windows located in the Fairgrounds Event Center in Norwood and as described in the scope of work below. Sealed bids must be received at the Fairgrounds Coordinators Office, 1165 Summit Street, Norwood, CO or emailed to For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. by Friday, September 26, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. Mandatory Pre-bid Conference A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held by appointment with DeeAnna Burbridge (970-327-4321).   It is the responsibility of the bidder to arrange for the pre-bid conference appointment. The purpose of this pre-bid conference will be to discuss and clarify the scope of work. Deadline for this appointment is September 19, 2025. Bidders are required to attend and participate in the pre-bid conference. Sealed bids will be opened and read by staff following the bid submission deadline. Bidders will be subsequently notified after the successful bidder has been determined. Scope of Work: Work to be performed generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: To install structural window framing around three windows located on the north east wall and to repair a leaking window in the kitchen located in the Event Center. To replace the exterior window trim. To determine replacement material of security mesh covering the windows. To perform all tasks necessary to install the structural window framing, including but not limited to, removing metal wall coverings around the windows and tying into existing wall structure. To provide all equipment, tools, labor, and materials to complete the project. To obtain all licenses and permits to complete the project. Target Start Date: October 1, 2025. Target End Date: November 30, 2025. Actual start and end dates are to be determined based upon contactor and facility schedules.
