Category: Bid Opportunities Status: Open Bid Recipient: greg.parret@highpointnc.gov Description: The City of High Point is seeking bids for the West Ray Drainage Improvements project, which consists of drainage upgrades and related construction activities within the project area near Council Street. The project includes land-disturbing work up to the approved 7 acres and requires furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the drainage improvements as shown in the project plans. Contractors will be responsible for performing all associated grading, excavation, and site restoration needed to deliver a fully completed drainage improvement project.
A pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, January 7, at 2:00 PM in the Municipal Operations Training Room located at 816 E Green Drive, High Point, NC 27260, (Come through the guard gate, go to the stop sign and make a left. The MOC training room is located at the top of the stairs of the Health and Safety office. Parking will be on your left). City staff will be available to discuss the project and answer pertinent questions including MWBE requirements. All prospective bidders are urged and cautioned to attend so as to prepare bids based upon a full understanding of project specifications.
