Description: Advertisement for Bids- Greyhawk Basin Sewer Interceptor for the City of Bixby, OklahomaBid Information Separate sealed bids for the Greyhawk Basin Sewer Interceptor for the City of Bixby, Oklahoma will be received by the City of Bixby, Oklahoma at City Hall, 116 West Needles, Bixby, Oklahoma 74008, until 2:00 P.M.,January 21, 2025 for furnishing tools, materials and labor, and performing the work necessary to be done in the construction of the above. All bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Director of Public Works, or her designated representative, in the Council Room of the City of Bixby, Oklahoma, at the time and date shown above. Bid Documents The information for Bidders, Bid Forms, Contracts, Plans, Specifications, Bond Forms, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following location: City of Bixby, Oklahoma, 116 West Needles, Bixby, Oklahoma 74008 An electronic copy may be obtained via email from Gwen Plante at the City of Bixby. You must contact Gwen to be placed on the Bidder’s List so the City can ensure you receive all addenda and other pertinent bidding information.Pre-Bid Conference A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on January 9, 2025, at 10:00 A.M., at the Bixby City Hall, Council Chambers, 116 West Needles, Bixby, Oklahoma 74008. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Bid Submissions The sealed proposal of each bidder shall be accompanied by a Noncollusion Affidavit, Business Relationship Affidavit, Experience, and Equipment Questionnaire, and a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bidder's Surety Bond in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid will be required from each bidder to be retained as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails, neglects, or refuses to enter into said contract for the construction of said public improvements for said project, and furnish the necessary bonds within ten (10) days from and after the date the award is made. Bids received more than ninety-six hours, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, before the time set for opening of bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening of bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
