At which time the bids will be privately opened and recorded in the Office of Procurement Bid Room. Bid documents will be available January 20, 2026.
The City of Springfield though its Department of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management is issuing this Request for Proposals from qualified vendors to provide concessionaire services at the Franconia Golf Course located at 619 Dwight Road, Springfield, Massachusetts 01108.
The Department of Parks, Buildings, and Recreation Management, is seeking proposals from qualified individuals, corporations or business entities to operate, manage and maintain a food and beverage concession at the Franconia Golf Course Clubhouse on 619 Dwight Road in Springfield, Massachusetts. The successful proposal will, at a minimum, provide affordable, high-quality food and beverage items for consumption in a clubhouse environment during a minimum operating season of April 1 through November 30, daily (seven days a week). Please note that the dates may be adjusted by mutual agreement of the parties. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women participation in all contracts.
All questions must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) no later than 1/28/26. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
