Description: The Lowell Housing Authority is seeking bids from qualified contractors interested in providing the removal and proper disposal of asbestos and related materials on an as needed basis.  On occasion, when renovating apartments, asbestos is discovered and must be safely removed before the unit can be occupied.  Asbestos testing and monitoring are performed by others who are contracted by LHA.  Work under this contract is for the abatement of asbestos only.
