Project Description: Purpose of Service The Montgomery County Office of Public Health, in partnership with the Montgomery County Early Childhood Consortium (MECC), desires to contract with a Maternal Healthcare Provider Capacity Consultant to improve birth outcomes among African Americans in Montgomery County. The three focus areas include: increasing the use of allied health providers; providing targeted education about reproductive health and other related health topics; and increasing provider's understanding of Black women's experiences with the health care system surrounding pregnancy.
