Description

Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure the labor, supervision, miscellaneous materials, tools, and equipment for performing modifications to the DISTRICT’S McCool 345kV substation located near McCool Junction, Nebraska. The work includes removal / installation of foundations, removal / installation of 115kV breakers, installing jumpers, cable work, conduit, grounding, and spreading rock at the McCool 345kV Substation.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details

(NOTE - TWO MEETINGS)

NOTE: Information to join the non-mandatory pre-bid Microsoft Teams meeting can be found under the "Documents" tab.

A non-mandatory pre bid Microsoft Teams meeting for prospective Bidders will be held on October 16, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. CDT. The purpose of the teleconference will be to review the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating on the teleconference, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders participate in this teleconference. If you plan to participate in the pre-bid teleconference, call in information can be found on the ProcureWare website at www.nppd.com under Bids & Contracts.

In addition to the pre-bid meeting, the DISTRICT will conduct a non-mandatory field visit on October 22, 2025, at 10:00 am, CDT. Bidders need to pre-register if you plan to attend the non-mandatory field visit, please email Greg Trofholz at gatrofh@nppd.com, Matt Doherty at mmdoher@nppd.com and Jim Shafer at jmshafe@nppd.com by October 20, 2025.
