Description:

Separate sealed proposals for the Sanitary Sewer Inflow & Infiltration Study (West) will be received in the office of the City Clerk at City Hall, 101 Court Street, Jackson, Missouri 63755, until 10:00 A.M. Central Time, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

The envelopes containing the proposals must be sealed, addressed, and designated as: “Proposal for Sanitary Sewer Inflow & Infiltration Study (West); Attn: City Clerk; Proposal Date September 8, 2026.”

Proposals shall be made in accordance with the Proposal Documents, which are on file and available for examination in the office of the Public Works and may be requested online at www.cityofjacksonmo.gov . These documents are made part of this notice as though fully set forth herein.

A site visit is recommended prior to submitting a proposal. bidders should visit the project location in Jackson, Missouri, to familiarize themselves with existing conditions, access limitations, coordination requirements, and site difficulties. Submission of a Proposal shall constitute acknowledgment that the bidder has examined the site and understands all conditions.

No bidder may withdraw its proposal within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

The City may issue addenda as necessary. All addenda will be issued through the Project Manager and/or posted on www.cityofjacksonmo.gov .

Attention of proposers is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed.

Bidders who agree to provide work under this contract must provide a ten-hour OSHA construction safety program or other similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri, in accordance with Sec. 292.675 RSMo.

Notice is hereby given that Section 285.530 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri requires that no business entity or employer shall knowingly employ, hire for employment, or continue to employ an unauthorized alien to perform work within the State of Missouri. Any business entity providing work under any contract in excess of $5,000.00 shall participate in a federal work authorization program (such as E-Verify) and shall provide documentation of such participation to the City.

The City of Jackson hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration of award.

The City of Jackson reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any irregularities in the proposals, and to award the contract to the bidder determined solely by the City to offer the best project to meet the needs of the City.
