(REVISED July 29th, 2025) The scope of work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures and services required for the paving of Pinion Place and Chisolm Trail in Prescott, Arizona; all in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents. The project length of Pinion Place is 1,402 feet. The main line road runs north to south from the intersection of Emerald Trail and Overland Road and the side street runs east to west. Major project work includes approximately 1,182 cubic yards of roadway excavation; 3,799 square yards of subgrade preparation, 698 tons of asphaltic concrete (3-inch thick mat); 843 cubic yards of aggregate base material, and 2 water valve adjustments. Other associated work includes pavement matches, and sign base installations. The project length of Chisolm Trail is 1,334 feet with 1,134 linear feet of new asphalt concrete pavement. Major project work includes approximately 1,796 cubic yards of roadway excavation, 2,210 square yards of subgrade preparation, 415 tons of asphaltic concrete (3-inch thick mat); 497 cubic yards of aggregate base material, and 412.5 feet of new MGS guardrail with 8’ long steel posts and 4 MSKT Test Level-2 end treatments. Other associated work includes pavement matches, flexible delineator installations, a driveway culvert installation, and sign base installations. A traffic control plan and a SWPPP shall be proposed and implemented during construction. All work is to be done in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract documents.
There has been a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting scheduled for 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 5, 2025, hosted by Yavapai County Public Works through an online virtual meeting portal. Detailed meeting instructions will be included in the contract documents. Any questions or concerns about the project will be addressed at that time.
