The County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide feeding during emergencies when Pinellas County.
The number of personnel requiring feeding and the locations of feeding stations may vary depending on the event. This work can extend from 12 to 24 hours per day.
FEMA grant requirements are included with this contract as emergency events may qualify for FEMA reimbursement to the County. Please review the attachments provided
One or more firms may be awarded contract (s) to meet these diverse requirements. The contract may require on-site cooking at two or more county locations.

Due to the sporadic occurrence of emergency activity, the County does not guarantee the placement of any orders under this contract.
BackgroundDuring disasters, the County will have personnel working from various locations to support response and recovery operations that may run 24 hours a day for days, weeks, or months. Feeding needs may vary from meals being prepped and served from County facilities during hurricanes to meal prep and delivery from vendor locations. The need is for a scalable, flexible feeding capability that can be implemented and sustained even during catastrophic events impacting the area.
