Special Inspection and Material Testing for the Construction of the Adeline Street OH Seismic Retrofit

Project Bridge No. 33C-0028

The City of Oakland is soliciting qualifications and proposal submittals from professional consulting firms interested in providing special inspection & material testing service for Adeline Street OH Seismic Retrofit project. The scope consists, in general, of performing special inspection and material testing services during construction, that includes, but not limited to, seismic retrofit of Adeline Street Bridge just south of 3rd Street, including wrapping columns with Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP), retrofitting the connections between abutments and bridge deck, thickening concrete foundation for 2 columns, bridge joint replacement, bridge removal (portion), joint seal assembly, structure (excavation & backfill), spall repair, railing chain, fencing, minor concrete curb & gutter, sidewalk, asphalt concrete pavement, roadway excavation, lighting/ Electric work, environmental protection, traffic control system, and other items shown on plans and Special Provisions.
