Sealed bids will be received and opened at the Borough of Naugatuck, Town Hall, Purchasing Office, 229 Church Street, Naugatuck, CT 06770, on Tuesday, December, 30, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened via ZOOM and read aloud. Contract Documents can be obtained at no cost from the Borough of Naugatuck website http://www.naugatuck-ct.gov. All bidders must check the Naugatuck website no more than three days prior to the bid opening to check for addendums.

The Borough of Naugatuck reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

This project will utilize the CHRO limited exemption for a street paving contract.

SPECIFICATIONS STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS

The material and construction methods for the work specified in this contract shall conform with the applicable provisions of the State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation specifications entitled “STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR ROADS, BRIDGES AND INCIDENTAL CONSTRUCTION”, Form

818, 2020, as revised by the Supplemental Specifications to date (otherwise referred to collectively as “ConnDOT form 818”) unless modified by the Special Provisions contained herein. “ConnDOT form 818” is hereby made part of this contract.
