Notes	The City of Laredo has established a local vendor preference ordinance 2018-O-175. All informal and formal Requests for bids for contracts will be evaluated with a 5% preference for local vendors. Bidders are strongly encouraged to submit their proposals electronically through use of Cit-E-Bid or in person - hand delivery. Mailed Bids (i.e. USPS, FedEx, UPS), telegraphic, emails or facsimile bids will not be considered. Request for Proposals may be hand delivered at the City Secretary Office, 1110 Houston St., 3rd Floor, Laredo, Texas 78040 until 5:00 P.M. on November 21, 2024 and all bids received will be opened and publicly acknowledged at 10:00 A.M. on November 22, 2024. Hand delivered proposals are to be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: FY25-017 RFP Disposal or Recycling of Electronic Waste/Scrap - Environmental Services.
