The RFP #25-024 Glencoe Golf Club Clubhouse Restaurant and Bar Concession Services is
due on December 29, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at the Village Hall, 675 Village Ct., Glencoe, IL
60022.
Staff has provided answers to questions received:
1. Clarification on the Glencoe Golf Club’s Facility Overview can be found in section #3
in the RFP document.
2. The Wilmette Golf Club uses a similar concessionaire concept and can be referred
to as an example of business growth opportunity.
3. Clarification on Utilities can be found in section #6 in the RFP document under the
heading Utilities and Other Operational Expenses. Phone service is not included.
4. Event lawn and tent details can be found in section #3 in the RFP document under
the heading Clubhouse Amenities. The event lawn is roughly 4,000 square feet.
5. There are no restrictions on types of events as long as they comply with the Village
noise ordinances, security provisions and are approved by the General Manager.
6. The parking lot before construction held 144 parking spaces and after construction
will have 204 parking spaces.
7. Kitchen hood cleaning would be a responsibility of the Vendor.
8. The FF&E will be confirmed by January 1st, and staff can provide the potential or
awarded Vendor with details upon request.
9. The tables are 4 seats with two wings that can fold up and create a 6 seat table.
10. All dinnerware is the responsibility of the vendor section #6 in the RFP under the
heading Utilities and Other Operational Expenses. The Vendor is allowed to propose
styles that will be reviewed and approved by the Owner.
11. Clarification to the Off-Premises Catering Permitted Subject to Owner Approval
(page 11-12) in section #6 of the RFP document under the heading; Off-Premises
Catering Permitted Subject to Owner Approval. Vendor may cater to other Glencoe
or non-Glencoe restaurants and schools with approval during the RFP process.
12. No paddle courts are planned on the Golf Club property.
13. There is storage in the dining room and basement.
14. Walk-in coolers are located at ground level and are accessible from the exterior of
the building.
15. There is a small office next to the kitchen for the manager on duty.
16. All operations of the Vendor should comply with Village ordinances including the
noise ordinance.
17. No fireworks are allowed on the Glencoe Golf Club property.
18. There will be a bicycle repair station with bicycle racks to encourage cyclists to
utilize the facility.
19. There are fifty-five seasonal employees during the regular golf season.
20. Alternate parking for the public is on Westley Road. Larger private events should
utilize a valet service.
21. Included as part of this Addendum #2 is the pre-bid sign in sheet.
