Sealed Bids, in duplicate, for the 2026-2028 Tree Purchasing and Planting Services in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, will be received by Mr. Jay Lancaster, PE, Director of Public Works, at the Creve Coeur Government Center, 300 North New Ballas Road, Creve Coeur, Missouri 63141, until 2:00 PM CST, WEDNESDAY, JULY 15, 2026, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Late bids will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender, unopened.

The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, multiple planting projects. The first is to supply and plant trees at various locations in the City’s rights-of-way (ROW). The exact quantity and location of these trees will be determined by how many applicants participate in the City’s “Shared-Cost Tree Planting Program.” Bids are based on a unit of one each. Final quantities will be confirmed approximately four (4) weeks before the fall planting. The city will provide the Contractor with a list of street addresses indicating the locations and tree species for plantings. The second planting project is to supply and plant trees and various City parks and facilities on an on-going as-needed basis. The contract is for calendar years 2026 through 2028.

Bid Documents will be available beginning June 26, 2026, for viewing or download from the “eDistribution Plan Room” on the Drexel Technologies website ( www.drexeltech.com ). Printed sets of plans and specifications for the project can be purchased from Drexel Technologies, located at 135A Weldon Parkway, Maryland Heights, MO 63043. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all informalities in Bids. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days, subsequent to the specified time for receipt of Bids. No low Bidder shall have a business expectancy merely because his Bid is the lowest one received: until the contract has been awarded, no business expectancy exists. Bids may be withdrawn solely for demonstrated and verifiable clerical or typographical mistakes, but not mistakes of judgment. Bids will be considered unresponsive if they contain any material defect or deviation. The City reserves the right and sole discretion to reject any and all bids.
