LEGAL NOTICESealed bids will be received by the City Engineer on behalf of the Director of Administration, City ofWooster, State of Ohio, at the office of said City Engineer, 538 N. Market Street, Wooster, Ohio, 44691until twelve o'clock noon, Thursday, May 14, 2026 for the N. Market Street Sewer Separation(Contract A: Storm Sewer) (Contract B: Sanitary Sewer Lining) in accordance with the specifications onfile in said office.Project Description: Contract A includes the installation of approximately 3100' of 24" or smallerstorm/sanitary sewer along N. Market Street and along W. Larwill Street. Also included is the installationof 11 manholes and 10 catch basins.Contract B includes the lining of approximately 2350' of 20" sanitary sewer along N. Market Street andreinstating approximately 50 laterals.Project Cost: The Engineer’s estimated construction cost for this project is: Contract A: $616,000 andContract B: $330,000Project Completion Date: December 31, 2026Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same, and beaccompanied by a bidding bond or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid price as a guarantythat if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance secured OR provide acontract bond for 100% of the bid amount.Copies of the contract documents are on file in the office of the City Engineer, City of Wooster, Ohio andare available for inspection by prospective bidders in the office or on the city’s bidding informationwebpage https://www.woosteroh.com/engineering/bidding-information. Bidders must register for theplans through the city’s Opengov website. Bidders must be registered for their bids to be considered. Bidbook and plans will be sent electronically.Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Wayne County and theCity of Wooster, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations.All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohioproducts, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project.
