Any and all questions regarding this RFP shall be directed to the principalcontact listed above.Due DateBids are due 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 25, 2025.Submission of ProposalsPlease submit your sealed proposals using the attached bid form, as well as all otherrequested information. One copy of the proposal shall be delivered to:City of GreenvilleAttn: City Clerk411 S. Lafayette StreetGreenville, MI 48838All responses must be clearly labeled – “GDPS Stackable Air Project.”Request For BidsEvaluation of BidsThe City will review all submitted bids and other relevant information (cost, best value forthe municipality, subjective considerations) regarding the products which the City wishesto purchase. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any response for any or noreason and to waive any minor irregularity if determined to be in the best interest of theCity of Greenville. Individuals or companies submitting paperwork as part of the bidselection process understand, by their submission, the above evaluation process.Furthermore, the City reserves the right to reduce the number of purchasable items onthe bid specification list after the bid opening, in order to decrease the final cost if neededto meet specific financial needs for the project.Selection of BidsOnce the appropriate bid is selected, it will be presented to the City Council for approval.Upon vendor and bid approval, the selected vendor will receive a “Notice of Award” andthe opportunity to review the plan of execution for the project with City officials.The “Total Amount Proposed” cost will be valid for a minimum of 60 days after the bidopening date and prospective vendors will be held to the price presented.Scope of WorkThe City of Greenville will accept bids for the purchase of high-pressure stackable liftingbags and ancillary equipment, according to the specifications outlined in this document.No sales tax may be added to the bid price, as the City of Greenville is sales tax exempt.Any bid submitted outside of the requested specifications the reason for the deviationfrom the requested specification of the City of Greenville.Attached to this is notice are the specifications set forth by the GreenvilleDepartment of Public Safety. Any NFPA required equipment not within thespecifications will be provided by the department.Request For BidsSpecifications for Specific Equipment RequestedHigh-Pressure Stackable Lifting Bags and Ancillary EquipmentEquipment:• High Pressure Stackable Air Bags (3 total):o Square in designo 12 Bar Package (minimum of 160 PSI)o Maximum inflation height of 7 incheso NFPA 1960 complianto All three bags are stackable on top of each other• Controller for the system• Proper hoses and connections needed for the systemo Three incoming and one outgoing system hoses for air bags – outgoinghoses must be a minimum of 15 feet in lengtho Three shutoffso SCBA connection & regulator gaugeso Any necessary specialty fittings)• Retaining straps or carrying device for all three high pressure bagsWarranty:For all equipment purchased – minimum 1 year from date of purchase.END OF SPECIFICATIONSRequest For BidsHigh-Pressure Stackable Lifting Bags and Ancillary EquipmentResponse SheetThis response sheet must be completed and submitted with the other requestedinformation as part of the response submittal.
