Scope of Work:

Repaint and reseal the main building exterior, replace all of the caulking with back rods at the exterior joints, replace the damaged face shells, replace the missing or damaged exterior grout, replace the building and emergency signs. Remove the existing and install a new steel framed awning outside the staff lounge.

Contractor’s Licensing
It is WCSD's opinion that the scope of work for this project qualifies for the following license groups: General Contracting AB, B and B2 licenses if, more than two (2) building trades are utilized; or Specialty License C3 or C4 if the bidder is performing the majority of the work per NRS 338.139.

If a Contractor would like to seek clarification from the Nevada State Contractor’s Board, then they must do so ten (10) days prior to the bid due date. https://www.nvcontractorsboard.com/.

Sealed bids for the Repaint and Reseal Building Exterior and Awning Replacement at Brown Elementary School will be received by the Washoe County School District’s (WCSD) Purchasing Department located at the Brown Center 14101 Old Virginia Road, Room #0, Reno, NV 89521, until 2:00 p.m., (Local Time) on April 29, 2026. The bids will be opened publicly via a TEAMS Meeting at 2:30 pm (local time).
