RFP # 2462-01 Massachusetts Commercial Auto Insurance

The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) invites all qualified agents, brokers and insurers to submit proposals to provide Massachusetts Commercial Automobile Insurance for the Authority’s vehicles and equipment for a period of one (1) year commencing 07/01/2026. Contract is estimated at $250,000. The policy will be quoted on the basis of the Authority’s current fleet of vehicles and equipment with the Authority reserving the right to add or subtract vehicles and equipment during the term of the policy. Specifications outlining the desired coverage categories, limits, and deductibles can be found in the RFP package.

Proposals will be subject to approval and award by the BHA. Proposals will be irrevocable for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of receipt. Proposers’ requests for the assignment of markets must be sent to gregory.rooney@bostonhousing.org no later than 2:00 PM on 6/10/2026. Questions or requests for additional information must be sent to bids@bostonhousing.org no later than 2:00 PM on 6/12/2026. Responses to questions/requests for additional information will be issued in the form of an addendum to this RFP to all proposers who are on record as having received the RFP from the Authority. Proposals must be received at the BHA Procurement Office, 52 Chauncy Street, Boston, MA 02111 no later than 2:00 PM on 6/22/2026. If proposers would like to submit the proposals by hand, there is a Bids/Proposals drop-off box in the foyer at 52 Chauncy Street. The BHA will not accept or review proposals received after the designated submission deadline and reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, or to accept a proposal, in part rather than completely, and to waive any irregularities or informalities.
