2026-24 Charleston Fire Department SUV Summary: The City of Charleston, WV (the City) is soliciting quotes for the purchase of One (1) 2026 Police Pursuit Rated (PPV) sport utility vehicle to be used by the Charleston Fire Department (CFD) for its ambulance supervisor/EMS command vehicle. The details contained in the following specifications are not designed to exclude any manufacturer from bidding but are offered as a means of describing the needs of the City of Charleston. The City currently owns Chevrolet manufactured vehicles within the Fire Fleet with the below specified lighting equipment and wishes to maintain consistency for training and safety reasons. All specifications are minimum requirements unless otherwise stated. Any deviations from the stated specifications must be described in detail. The merit of such deviations will be considered with regard to the City of Charleston’s intended use.
