BID NOTICE
Sealed bids for the sale of the following surplus items will be received by the Greater Lafourche Port Commission (“GLPC”) at its office at 16829 East Main, Cut Off, LA 70345 until MONDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM, at which time all bids will be opened and read aloud.
Description and Minimum Bid Amounts listed as follows:

2012 Chevrolet Tahoe (Mileage 258,663) Min. Bid $1,000.00;
1999 Generac SD100KW Diesel Generator Min. Bid $2,000.00;

Inspection of equipment shall be by appointment with viewing from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM ONLY.  To schedule an appointment, please call the Administration Office at 985-632-6701, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. All items are located at 16819 East Main Street, Cut Off, LA. Said surplus equipment will be sold “AS IS, WHERE IS.”  Some of the equipment may be currently inoperable and personal inspection prior to bidding is highly recommended.

Sealed bids must be in a sealed envelope marked “2024 Surplus Sale No.2”. Bids must include name, address, phone number, and email address of the bidder. Bids can be hand delivered, or mailed to GLPC 16829 East Main St., Cut Off, LA 70345, or submitted online through www.centralauctionhouse.com.

If the bid amount is less than the minimum bid listed above, the bid will be null and void for that line item.

The Commission reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids. In the event of a tie, the proposal resulting in the lowest administration expense to the GLPC will be selected.
