INVITATION TO BIDSEALED BIDS for construction of BRO-R068(015), Pilot Grove Road Over Trib of N. Moreau Creek Improvements,Moniteau County, Missouri will be received at: Moniteau County Courthouse 200 E. Main Street California, Missouri65018 until 9:00 A.M. (Prevailing Local Time) on the 18th day of March , 2026, at the office of the Moniteau CountyClerk, and at that time will be publicly opened and read. All bids shall be submitted in the form of hard copy attached.The proposed work includes: Removal of existing bridge and construction of new bridge with associated roadwayapproaches.Copies of plans and specifications can be seen or purchased for a Non-Refundable fee on-line at www.drexeltech.comin their eDistribution plan room, additional assistance is available at distribution@drexeltech.com. Informationregarding this project can be found in the “Public Jobs” link on the website. Contractors desiring the ContractDocuments for use in preparing bids may also obtain a set of such documents from Drexel Technologies; 10840 West86th Street, Lenexa, KS 66214, telephone number is 913-371-4430. Bidding documents will be shipped only if therequesting party assumes responsibility for all related charges. Corporate, certified, or cashier’s checks shall be madepayable to Drexel Technologies, Inc. Any questions regarding the project, plans, specifications, or bid documentsshould be directed to Mitch Gibler, EI., OWN, Inc., 8455 College Boulevard, Overland Park, Kansas 66210, at (816)777-0400.All labor used in the construction of this public improvement shall be paid a wage no less than the prevailing hourlyrate of wages of work of a similar character in this locality as established by the Department of Labor and IndustrialRelations (Federal Wage Rate), or state wage rate, whichever is higher.The Moniteau County Commission hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contractentered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economicallydisadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not bediscriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in considerationfor an award.All bidders must be on MoDOT’s Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specificationsfor Highway Construction, 2025 Edition, Effective January 1, 2026, including all revisions. The contractorquestionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening.Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on public works project provide a 10-Hour OSHAconstruction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to becompleted by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project.The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive anyinformalities or minor defects or to reject any or all bids and to re-advertise and to rebid. All materials for the projectshall be tax exempt.Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount of five percent (5%) of his/her base bid which issubject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.The DBE Goal for this project is 0%.No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project.No Bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.Moniteau County Commissions/Joe W.
