Description: TOWN OF SHREWSBURY Request for Qualifications for House Doctor Architectural Services - General (On-Call) The Town of Shrewsbury, acting through its Town Manager, is seeking qualified architectural firms to provide on-call “House Doctor” design services for the Town of Shrewsbury. The Town of Shrewsbury will award contracts for various projects over a three year period. The scope of work will generally involve repair, rehabilitation or renovation to municipal and school buildings/structures and the design of small municipal buildings/structures. Projects may include re-roofing, window replacement, exterior envelope repairs, mechanical/ structural repair and or replacements, renovations for handicapped accessibility and minor interior renovation to offices and classroom spaces. Applicants must have experience in, and be fully licensed or registered for, all these types of work by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and must list the names of the licensed consultants that will be used. Construction costs for applicable projects are estimated to be in the range of $35,000 - $1,000,000. Designer fees will be negotiated for each separate project. The contract form to be used on applicable projects, subject to final negotiation, will be AIA Document B101 – 2017. Copies of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Instructions shall be available online at https://shrewsburyma.gov/bids and also in the Town Manager’s Office at 100 Maple Avenue in Shrewsbury (phone: 508-841-8508). Town Offices are open Mon, Wed, Thu 8:00 AM-4:30 PM; Tue 8:00 AM-6:30 PM; and Fri 8:00 AM-12:00 PM. Sealed Qualification Proposals submitted in accordance with the RFQ Instructions will be received in the Office of the Town Manager, 100 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, MA 01545 until 11:00 AM on February 26, 2025. Qualification Proposals must be sealed and marked “Town of Shrewsbury House Doctor Architectural Services - General (On-Call)” with the Applicant’s name and address clearly noted.
