PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR BID FOR THE PURCHASE AND REMOVAL OF SALE OF CLARK-HLA8T AND IR-KVG83 PARTS AT THE PHILADLEPHIA GAS WORKS "PGW" LOCATION PORT RICHMOND FACILITY LOCATED AT 3100 E VENANGO ST. PHILADELPHIA, PA 19134.

SCOPE OF WORK: PLEASE SEE ATTACHMENT A - SPECIFICATION NO. 3141

PLEASE SUBMIT ALL QUESTIONS AND REQUEST FOR CLARIFICATION FOR THIS RFQ VIA PGW.PROCUREWARE.COM BY MAY 5, 2025, 2:30 PM EASTERN STANDARD TIME.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

  1. THE BASIS OF AWARD SHALL BE MADE TO THE RESPONSIBLE BIDDER THAT PROVIDES THE HIGHEST RETURN PRICE TO PGW. PGW AIMS TO MAXIMIZE THE VALUE OBTAINED FROM THE SALE OF THESE PARTS. MULTIPLE AWARDS MAY BE ISSUED.

  2. INSPECTION OF THE PARTS IS PERMITTED BY APPOINTMENT ONLY AND CAN BE SCHEDULED ON MAY 7, 2025, BETWEEN (10.00 A.M. – 12.00 P.M. EASTERN STANDARD TIME) PLEASE RSVP TO NAJEY.MCDUFFIE@PGWORKS.COM BY 2:30 P.M. EST, MAY 6, 2025. APPOINTMENT TIME AND CONTACT INFORMATION WILL BE PROVIDED ONCE RSVP IS CONFIRMED . REQUESTS FOR APPOINTMENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE SCHEDULED DATES REFERENCED ABOVE.

  3. ALL BIDDERS MUST ADHERE TO ALL REQUIREMENTS AND STANDARDS THAT HAVE BEEN OUTLINED IN THE ATTACHED DETAILED SPECIFICATION AND ALL OTHER SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION PERTAINING TO THIS RFQ.

  4. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER MUST ADHERE TO ALL PGW INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS THAT ARE INCLUDED AND REQUIRED FOR THIS RFQ.

  5. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT PAYMENT PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OF THE PARTS. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER(S) MUST REMOVE ALL ITEMS WITHIN TEN (10) BUSINESS DAYS FROM THE DATE OF THE NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY.

  6. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER MUST MAKE PAYMENT IN FULL NOT LATER THAN FIVE (5) BUSINESS DAYS FOLLOWING THE NOTICE OF AWARD DATE. PLEASE NOTE: IT MAY TAKE THREE (3) TO FIVE (5) DAYS TO PROCESS PAYMENT ONCE IT IS RECEIVED. PAYMENT MUST BE PROCESSED PROIR TO REMOVAL OF THE PARTS. PGW WILL ISSUE A NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY WHEN THE PAYMENT IS PROCESSED.

    7. IF SUCCESSFUL BIDDER(S) NEED ASSISTANCE WITH LOADING THE PARTS TO THE VEHICLE OR CONTAINER, PGW CAN PROVIDE ASSISTANCE. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER(S) ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SECURING THE PARTS FOR TRANSPORT.

    8. THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT PARTS ARE SECURED DURING TRANSIT AND SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LAWS, AND REGULATIONS CONCERNING TRANSPORTATION OF EQUIPMENT.

    9. PROPERTY SOLD AS IS, NO WARRANTIES. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. PGW EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE PROPERTY IS WITH THE BIDDER.
