Request For ProposalsCity of North AdamsRFP/Bid # NA-2025-021The City of North Adams, MA, acting by and through its Office of CommunityDevelopment (OCD), is soliciting proposals from not-for-profit social service agenciesand/or from licensed providers to implement their agency’s services/programs that willbenefit low/moderate income persons that reside in North Adams, especially thoseservices that help sustain and improve the economic security and self-sufficiency of theaffected individuals. Proposals shall be reviewed by the City’s Human ServicesCommission with assistance provided by the OCD. An anticipated total of $40,000 willbe sought for this campaign, which envisions assisting up to no more than five eligibleagencies.Project RFPs are available at the North Adams OCD, City Hall, after 12:00 pm onWednesday, November 5, 2025, or can be viewed on the municipal website ofwww.northadams-ma.gov. Proposals must be received no later than 12:00 pm onTuesday, January 6, 2025, at the OCD, Room # 107, City Hall - 10 Main Street, NorthAdams, MA 01247, after which time all received proposals shall be taken to the OCD’sconference room (Rm # 110) where they shall be opened and identified as to its proposer.All proposals will receive consideration without regard to race, creed, color, age, sex,religion or national origin.This project is contingent upon funding from the City’s FY’2026 CommunityDevelopment Block Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and UrbanDevelopment, pursuant to Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of1974, and also contingent upon the City’s official award of said funding on or about July1, 2026 from the State Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities, havingsecured its executed Grant Agreement from said funding source as well as meeting anyother post-award grant requirements.Any questions concerning the proposed project should be directed to the OCD between8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in person, Monday through Friday, or by calling 413-662-3000(x-3227) or emailing mkozik@northadams-ma.gov.
