2026 RECPATH CRACKSEALING AND PAVEMENT REPAIRS

Due date:  TUESDAY APRIL 21, 2026 by 5:00PM MST/MDT

Overview: Summit County Government (“County”) is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to conduct crack sealing and asphalt repairs on the Summit County Recreational Pathway (Recpath). The County has identified three separate tasks for this project including (1) general crack sealing, (2) full depth patching of faulted cracks, and (3) mill and overlay of faulted cracks. These tasks are further described in “Attachment A – Project Tasks.” The work should be completed no later than June 1, 2026 if possible.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on site behind Summit High School on Monday April 13 at 10:00AM MST. Please contact Allison Morton, allison.morton@summitcountyco.gov , for directions and the exact meeting location. This pre-bid meeting is not mandatory, and bids will be received regardless of attendance.

All proposals that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud on April 22 via Microsoft Teams. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder who best meets the requirements of Summit County and the public interest.

Summit County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities or informalities, and to conduct such investigations or negotiations as it deems necessary to select the most responsible and responsive proposal.
