SummaryThe City of Pasadena Department of Public Works, Building Systems and Fleet Management Division (BSFMD), is seeking a qualified vendor to provide vehicle accessory equipment installation, repair, diagnostic, outfitting, fabrication, welding, and modification services for City-owned vehicles on an as-needed basis.
Services may include installation, repair, modification, and transfer of vehicle accessory equipment such as emergency lighting, safety lighting, sirens, backup cameras, electrical accessories, equipment racks, trailer hitches, storage systems, prisoner partitions, and related vehicle equipment throughout Fiscal Year 2027.
BackgroundThe City of Pasadena operates and manages approximately 1,100 vehicles and equipment units in its Fleet. Vehicle accessory equipment requires periodic installation, modification, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and transfer to support operational needs, vehicle replacements, safety requirements, and equipment upgrades.
The City utilizes outside vendors to provide specialized expertise, equipment, fabrication, welding, and diagnostic services necessary to maintain vehicle accessory systems and related equipment in a safe and operational condition.
