The BD FACSDiscover S8 is the only fluorescent activated cell sorter (FACS) on the market that is both a spectral
FACS, meaning that it captures the full emission spectrum from each laser, and an imaging FACS that generates an
image of each cell as it passes through the detectors. This is the most advanced FACS on the market and is the
instrument that USDA NIFA has provided funding for us to purchase.
