Summary

The County of Orange, Sheriff-Coroner , (hereinafter referred to as County) is requesting competitive bids from qualified vendors (hereinafter referred to as Bidder) for Plumbing Supplies . The awarded Contract, (hereinafter referred to as Contract) will be between the County and awarded Bidder, (hereinafter referred to as Contractor) in accordance with the model contract terms, conditions and scope of work. This is a fully electronic solicitation – only electronic bids submitted through the County’s online bidding system will be allowed; no other form of bid submittals will be accepted. Prior to submitting a bid, Bidders are advised to carefully read the instructions below, including the model contract and any solicitation attachments and/or exhibits. Background

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department requires a Contractor to supply plumbing parts, plumbing assemblies, plumbing systems, plumbing related tools, miscellaneous related hardware, and supplies on an as-needed basis.

Products and materials to include but not limited to, copper pipe & fittings, brass pipe/nipples & fittings, galvanized steel pipe/nipples and fittings, stainless steel pipe/nipples & fittings, clay pipe & fittings/couplings, plastic pipe/tubing & fittings, PVC pipe/nipples & fittings, ABS pipe & fittings, PEX pipe and fittings, cast iron soil/vent pipe &fittings/couplings to include Durham fittings, chemical pipe & fittings, glass pipe & fittings, grooved pipe & fittings, black steel pipe/nipples & fittings, wrapped pipe & fittings, pipe insulation/protection materials, steam traps, grid strainer, access panels & covers, valve boxes & lids/doors, strut channel fittings, drain & grates, pipe hangers/strapping & related hardware, fire equipment, fire hose cabinet, fire hydrants, fire valves, water works pipe & fittings, tubular plastic & brass/LA pattern, rims, sinks & lavatories, specialties fixtures, bathroom accessories, O-ring, disposals, controls, water heaters/boilers, water/waste storage tanks, expansion tanks, solar energy, pumps and related motors, closet scats, plumbing brass & fixtures, finish trim, flush valves, water/steam/gas/waste/control valves, drinking fountains, irrigation, sprinkler equipment, penal/institutional water/waste systems, meters, gauges, cements, sealants, compounds, solvents, glue, flare & compression fittings and/or valves, gaskets, rubber goods, fasteners, nuts/bolts/screw, gasket sets, plumbers putty, solder, flux, bowl was/gaskets, tools, and sewer & drain cleaning equipment.
