at which time the bids will be publicly open and read in the Office of Procurement. The City of Springfield invites all interested, qualified persons or firms capable of providing the requested services, to submit bids to enter into an agreement to provide renovation to Greenleaf Park Tennis & Pickleball Courts, 1185 Parker Street, Springfield MA, 01129. This bid falls under M.G.L. Ch. 30§39M and other procurement statutes.
Project includes redevelopment of tennis courts at Greenleaf Park into tennis and pickleball courts. Work will include temporary sediment & erosion controls, earthwork, fencing, bituminous concrete pavement, acrylic sports court surfacing and striping for tennis and pickleball, installation of site amenities, and site restoration. Estimated value of the contract is approximately $275,000.00. Bid documents can be requested through the City’s website; www.springfieldcityhall.com (during normal business hours) beginning on May 21, 2024.
It is strongly encouraged to attend a site visit on May 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM on site. All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than May 29, 2025 by 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal of twenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. MA DLS Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
