Ames Transit Agency, dba: CyRide, is accepting bids for one ISL engine rebuild / overhaul.
The engine will be removed from the bus by CyRide and placed on an engine stand to be picked up or have shipping coordinated by the winning bidder. The winning bidder shall rebuild / overhaul the engine with genuine Cummins parts. The rebuilt engine will then be delivered / shipped back to CyRide where CyRide staff will reinstall the engine into the bus. The engine will be from a 2008 40-foot Gillig Lowfloor Bus.
All responses must be submitted before the deadline. No late responses will be reviewed.
No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids.
The City of Ames reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to make such awards as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City.
