Description: Description The City of Liberal is seeking qualified sealed bids for material and labor to install a chain link fence surrounding the Mid-America Air Museum located at 2000 W. 2nd Street in Liberal. Fence Specifications: 4-foot tall, bolt down, 9 gauge chain link fencing with top rail Total length: 1,225 feet including specified gates Two (2) 4-foot walk through gates Two (2) 10-foot swing gates joined to create a 20-foot opening Fencing and plates must be galvanized Plates must be welded to the post using a galvanized weld Anchor bolts must be stainless steel Publication Date/Time: 4/1/2025 4:00 PM Closing Date/Time: 5/1/2025 5:00 PM Submittal Information: Submit sealed bids to the City Clerk office at City Hall, 324 N. Qualifications: Qualified bidders must carry appropriate certificates of insurance. Storage and handling of all materials must be in a manner which prevents additional loss, deterioration and damage. Change orders will not be accepted without prior approval from an authorized representative. Compliance with all applicable laws and statutory regulations is required. The City requires a current City of Liberal Contractors and business license. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The City does not pre-pay for projects. Terms will be negotiated prior to signing a formal contract. The City will obtain any necessary permits. The project is subject to inspection by the City of Liberal Building and Code Enforcement department. Special Requirements: This project must be fully completed prior to July 31, 2025.
